A well known Mansion on top of a hill overlooking the countryside between Imperia and Vasia needed a new kitchen pale colors and an open structure dissolves the tailor made kitchen towards the dining area. Marble surfaces and solid wooden bodies blend harmoniously with the old furniture.

LA CASETTA SEGRETA
UMBRIA

La Casetta was meant to be the new addition in the portfolio of boutique homes of „La segreta“. A 1970s townhouse and its garden at the edge of the medieval town of Collazzone was totally restored with a focus on Italian design of the 70s. A cantilevering hidden pool stages the spectacular views into the surrounding umbrian valleys.

Stazzo Rena Majore
Sardegna

Conversion and expansion of a Sardinian farmhouse overlooking the backcountry of Santa Teresa in the Gallura region. A lasting confrontation with the local building tradition and the typology of the stazzu.

MANORIAL VILLA
LIGURIA

Refurbishment a Wilhelminian Villa on the Ligurian coastline, including the redesign of the bathrooms. Marble as the dominating material in the building was chosen to be the main player. The goal was to find a use and pattern which connects to the style of the Villa and at the same time would feel contemporary. Marmo Bianco di Carrara tipo CD and raw Brass fixtures.

CASA ORENGHI
LIGURIA

In a secluded hamlet deep inside the characteristic „Val Prino“ two unique front row stone ruins are being redeveloped to create a unique ensemble featuring lush courtyards lined with old orange trees, unique views onto the olive groves and the sea. The redevelopment of Casa Orenghi included the complete exterior renovation with new roofs new loggias, complete interior fittings with bathrooms, kitchens and conversion of the basement into living space and studios.

CASA DEL PRETE

In a secluded hamlet deep inside the characteristic „Val Prino“ two unique front row stone ruins are being redeveloped to create a unique ensemble featuring lush courtyards lined with old orange trees, unique views onto the olive groves and the sea. The redevelopment of „Casa del Prete“ included the complete exterior renovation with new roofs, complete interior fittings with bathrooms, kitchens and the conversion of the old vaulted basement. The property features a barn which is converted into a Pool House with exterior kitchen and a swimmingpool.

CASA SONU
LIGURIA

In the immediate vicinity, directly adjacent to „Casa Francese“ in Montegrazie near the Ligurian coast, lies our second project, a small detached village house, which, after it was uninhabited for a century, was almost falling apart. The intervention was meant to be very sensible to preserve as much of the original substance as possible, trying to give to the house a new clean and at the same time archaic atmosphere.

Located in a medieval mountain village, the large historic stone house in very dilapidated condition in the hinterland of the Ligurian Riviera was the cornerstone of Vecchi Sassi. Our first private project, which is now used for holiday home rentals, we renovated it with our own hands with great attention to detail, trying to maintain its authentic spirit.
