VECCHI SASSI

Our goal is to reduce each of our houses to the core and the essentials, to preserve the original charm and to create a connection between past, present and future.

The identity of a place and its own architectural language are based on a set of specific materials and its authenticity. To ensure the connection between the houses and their surroundings and to keep the history of each house alive, we stay true to the local language with our buildings by constantly reusing and searching for materials and forms that connect the building to the place it belongs to. Prior to forming Vecchi Sassi, Simon Filler has several years of experience in working with historical buildings. He worked and lived all over Europe but has always come back to Liguria, the place where he grew up. With a similar identity and passion, Sandra Tuchscherer supports as a designer and project manager.
